Why people call us back

Plumbing is bought in a hurry and judged afterwards. These are the things our customers say made the difference.

Answered at 3am

The phone rings through to a person every hour of every day, including holidays. Overnight calls get a truck, not a callback in the morning.

One flat price

You hear the price for the job before we start and that is the number on the invoice. Nothing changes because the work took longer than expected.

Real arrival windows

You get a time based on where the nearest truck actually is, and a message when the plumber is on the way. Not an eight-hour window.

Repair before replace

If a part will fix it, we fit the part. We tell you when replacement is genuinely the better value and we explain why.

We show you the problem

Camera footage of your sewer line, the failed part in your hand, the meter test in front of you. You decide with the same information we have.

Clean finish

Drop cloths down, work area cleared, old units hauled away. The job is not done until the space is the way you would want to find it.

How an emergency call works

  1. Call and describe what you see

We ask three or four questions to work out whether you should shut the main off before we arrive.

  2. We dispatch the nearest truck

You get an arrival window, not a vague promise, and a text when the plumber is on the way.

  3. Stop the water, then find the cause

Containing the leak comes first. Diagnosis comes second, once nothing is getting worse.

  4. Price before the repair starts

You approve a flat price for the fix before any work begins. No hourly meter running.

Not sure whether it is an emergency?

If water is running and you cannot stop it, if sewage is coming up into the building, if there is no water at all, or if you smell gas, call now on (888) 809-6756. Anything else, we will book you the same day or the next morning at your convenience.

What our customers say

Water heater died the morning we had family arriving. New one in and running by two o'clock.

Ken W.

Quoted, scheduled, arrived, finished. Nothing dramatic, which is exactly what I wanted.

Lauren P.

No upselling. I asked about replacing the whole line and was told the repair would hold for years. It has.

Rob D.

Reviews shown are customer feedback about work carried out by our team.

Questions we get asked most

Are you really open 24 hours?

Yes. The phone is answered around the clock, every day of the year, and we dispatch overnight. Emergency work is priced the same way as daytime work, by the job, with the price agreed before we start.

How much will my repair cost?

You get a flat price for the specific job before any work begins. Nothing starts until you say yes, and there is no hourly meter running while a plumber diagnoses the problem.

Do you charge for a call-out?

We tell you on the phone what a visit costs for your situation. When you go ahead with the repair, that is folded into the job price.

How fast can you get here?

For an emergency we give you a real arrival window when you call, based on where the nearest truck is. Most emergency calls are on site within a couple of hours.

What areas do you cover?

All the cities and towns listed on this site across New York, from Buffalo and Rochester through Syracuse and the Capital Region down to the Hudson Valley and New York City.

Do you work on commercial property?

Yes. Restaurants, offices, retail, warehouses and multi-unit residential buildings, usually scheduled outside your trading hours.

What payment do you take?

Major cards, cheque and cash. Payment is due when the job is complete and you are satisfied with the work.

Can you come the same day?

In most cases yes. Call early and we will normally fit you in that day. Emergencies go to the front of the queue whatever the hour.

Water where it should not be?

Call and describe what you are seeing. We will tell you whether to shut the main off, give you a real arrival window, and quote a flat price before anything starts.
